Egyptian Premier League side Smouha have signed Libyan center-back Mohamed Al Tarhouni from Al Ahli Tripoli.
Al Tarhouni spent all of his professional career in his home country for both Tripoli based sides Al-Ittihad and Al Ahli. He’s also a regular in the Lybian National Team as he made 14 appearances for the Mediterranean Knights.
Smouha are looking to compensate for last season as they were battling for relegation but managed to finish 12th after they signed former Pyramids FC manager Hossam Hassan.
Therefore they had a very active transfer window in an effort to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season as they already made 16 signings with most of them coming from rival clubs in the Egyptian Premier League.
These signings include former Zamalek defender Mohamed Koffi as well as Al Ahly’s Nasser Maher on loan.
Islam El-Far and Mahmoud Abdel-Halim also joined the Blues from Nogoom FC, in addition Zamalek trio Mohamed Ashraf, Mostafa Mohamed and Ahmed Daouda also joined the club on loan. source
