Social components of Murzuk town southwest of Libya agreed to stop the fighting and to lay the foundations for peaceful and secure coexistence, after the recent clashes in the town.
The ceasefire agreement provides for an immediate cease-fire, the removal of all armed presence in the town, and the formation of a joint committee to monitor the implementation of the agreement.
This is the second agreement of this kind, following the clashes that broke out after Haftar's forces invasion of the town last February, before retreating from the area.
Haftar's attack of the town resulted in reprisal acts among its people. source
