Libya's Central Bank: State revenue reached 41.5 billion dinars so far in 2019

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) said the Libyan state revenue of the last three quarters of 2019 amounted to 24.5 billion dinars plus 16.9 billion dinars as fees on dollar purchase transactions.

The CBL said in a report on Wednesday that Libya's expenditure amounted in the same period to 29 billion dinars.

The report says oil revenue of 9 months so far reached 22.752 billion dinars and taxes hit 685 million dinars, while 224 million dinars were the revenue of Customs Department, 201 million dinars from telecommunications and 16.942 billion dinars from fees on dollar purchase transactions.

The report says the expenditure of salaries reached 16 billion dinars, 5.883 billion dinars for steering budget, 2.258 billion dinars for development and 5.318 billion dinars for government subsidies.

It adds that 3.150 billion dinars were spent in the last three quarters of 2019 on fuel subsidies, 1.51 billion dinars for medical supplies, 615 million dinars for electricity, 307 million dinars for public cleaning services, and 195 million dinars for water and sewage. source
