TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Libyan artist managed to calligraph the entire Holy Quran.
It took Sheikh Ahmed bin Ukal four years to complete the work, according to afrigatenews website.
He has inscribed the verses Qaluan an Nafi orthography.
The copy he has calligraphed has 621 pages.
Efforts to develop Quranic activities in Libya continue despite the violence that has plagued many parts of the North African country since a NATO military intervention led to the overthrow of former dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
