Corrections: November 8, 2019

An article on Wednesday about Russia’s involvement in Libya’s civil war misspelled the surname of the United Nations secretary general. He is António Guterres, not Gutteres.

An article on Monday about a Ukrainian oligarch’s plans for a ski resort included a map of Ukraine, suggesting that it was separate from Crimea. The map should have indicated the area, annexed by Russia in 2014, with a dashed border line.

An article on Monday about the New York Jets’ lack of success under new leadership misstated the number of points by which the Jets trailed the Dolphins with under seven minutes remaining in the game. It was 9 points, not 8.

An obituary on Wednesday about the violinist Marya Columbia, who played for rescue workers after the New York City terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, referred imprecisely to the sequence of events in those attacks. The North Tower of the World Trade Center was struck first, not the South Tower. The obituary also misspelled the given name of the niece who wrote about Ms. Columbia for The New Yorker and misstated when her article was published. She is Caroline Lester, not Carolyn, and the article was published this year, not last year. source
